FOR
KAYAKING/CANOEING
A complete change of clothes and footwear to include:
- T-shirt
- Sweatshirt
- Footwear: plimpsolls, jellies, or ideally wetsuit boots (but not thick soled trainers)
- Sun hat & sun protection cream in spring/summer
- Fleece
(for cold weather)
- Thermals
or a wetsuit plus hat (for cold weather)
- Towel & wash kit
Wear clothes
appropriate to the weather, i.e. more layers in winter. If
you wear glasses remember to bring something to secure them with.
MOUNTAIN
BIKING
A complete change of clothes and footwear (Mountain Biking can be very muddy and dirty at times) plus:
- Small
rucksack
- Drinks
bottle (for water)
- Snack/lunch/drink
- Waterproof/wind
proof - these can be borrowed from the Centre if necessary
- Gloves,
biking glasses - if available
- Sun protection
cream (in spring / summer)
OUTDOOR
CLIMBING/WALKING
Bring a complete change of comfortable clothes including footwear plus:
- Small
rucksack
- Trainers
(climbing boots if you have some)
- Coat/jacket
- Packed
lunch and drink
- Towel &
wash kit
- Sun hat
(in spring / summer)
- Sun
protection cream (in spring / summer)
- Waterproofs
- available from the Centre if necessary
