The climbing wall opened in August 2003. The main wall is an area 8m x 10m, x 10m high and offers a wide range of graded climbs.

To use the wall regularly, you need to register (for free). To be able to register, you MUST be a competent climber and by signing the registration form, you are agreeing to our terms and conditions which say you are a competent climber.

You can become a member by paying an annual fee, which then gives you a discount each time you climb. Please see costs below.

We run a wide range of courses to suit ages 8yrs and up, and all abilities. Individual novice climbers will be required to attend a two session induction programme before using the wall.

The Centre also has a small bouldering wall. It is suitable for small groups for top-roping and bouldering and is accessible by wheelchair users.

Groups who wish to climb can book 2 hour sessions by phoning the Centre for details and prices. Or see the Bookings Page.

Rockhoppers

Weekdays 12noon - 10pm, and weekends 9am - 5pm (Wednesday 10am - 10pm)

* These opening times may change according to demand. Off-Peak time is before 6pm weekdays and Peak at all other times.
